About Sierra Golf Management

A traditional game, a revolutionary company

From our beginning in 1994, our company philosophy has always been, “hands on.” SGM certainly is not as large as some of our competitors, and you won’t find us listed on the NASDAQ, but what we do promise is that we will deliver to your facility a work ethic that is unsurpassed. What can a prospective client expect if they hire SGM as their operator? Hands-on quality, hands-on honesty, and a company that CARES about your product, and CARES about your future. We are extremely proud of our reputation and growth in the golf industry. Unlike other regional or national golf management companies, SGM promises that you will ALWAYS be able to work with, and communicate with our Senior Management team. Direct communication is the key to our success. This is why our growth has become a continuum over the years, because of our common sense approach to problem solving.

Sierra Golf Management clients benefit from our long history of golf course management experience. We have been successfully operating California golf facilities since the early 1990’s and are currently one of the largest regional operators of golf courses in Central California. We currently lease, manage, maintain and/or own fifteen (15) California and Nevada golf properties and are the only golf management firm located in Central California. We understand an owner’s needs because we are also a golf course owner, which means we know what courses want and demand. This depth of understanding will enable Sierra Golf Management to provide your facility with the premier golf course management service it deserves.

The business of golf is ever changing. Without change, support, and creativity, many golf courses will have a very difficult time surviving in today’s new golf economy. Let us show you how to change, how to improve, how to grow more rounds, how to improve your playing conditions, and how to improve the bottom line. At Sierra Golf Management we are changing golf, one course at a time.

Our Mission

Improvement is our overall daily task here at Sierra Golf Management. We strive to improve the quality of our customer’s day and experience. Our customer has chosen to not only play our course, but to give us five hours of their day. We want to make this time an experience for our customers and one that they enjoy with upmost pleasure. We will be sure to show our customer they are appreciated not only by our outward gratitude, but by improving something…somewhere, at all times. It may not always be noticed, but is always constant.

BOTTOM LINE: SGM will improve the quality and service of your golf facility, which, in turn will increase the total rounds of golf at your course. That’s the equation to more net revenue for a facility.. It’s really that simple!

Raves & Reviews

“In May of 2017, Belmont Country Club found itself in crisis when the course greens were terminally damaged.  Looking for a solution, the Belmont CC, Board of Directors, met with Sierra Golf Management (SGM).  In August of 2017, SGM presented a detailed plan to the Belmont CC Board of Directors and guaranteed that the course would be reopened for play on October 10, 2017.  SGM also promised the board that the course would look better than ever. SGM DELIVERED!!!  Today, Belmont CC has the best greens in the Central Valley and the course looks better than ever.  Thank you, SGM.”
